Ambassador Mbarouk Presented Letters of Credence to the President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)

On 25th June 2026, H.E. Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Italian Republic and Permanent Representative to the Rome-based UN Agencies, presented his Letters of Credence to Mr. Álvaro Lario Hervás, the President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), thus officially assuming his role as Tanzania's Permanent Representative to IFAD.

The event reaffirmed the strong partnership between Tanzania and IFAD and underscored their shared commitment to advancing sustainable rural development, food security, and agricultural transformation.
