On 25 February 2026, H.E. Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Italian Republic and Permanent Representative to the Rome‑based UN Agencies, paid a courtesy call on Mr Enrico Maria Bagnasco, President of Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Ambassador to introduce himself to the Organisation, learn more about its activities, and explore avenues for strengthening cooperation with Tanzania. The two leaders also discussed preparations for the upcoming Tanzania–Italy Business Forum, scheduled to take place later this year in Italy.
