My dear fellow mourners,I write to express my delight and appreciation for your unquestionable support which you extended to us during our most difficult period of mourning for the loss of our beloved 5th President the late Dr. John Pombe Magufuli. We were highly comforted by your nice words of sympathy and encouragement. On my own behalf and on behalf of the bereaved family, the government and all Tanzanians, I want to thank you all for your being with us at our most time of need. May God bless you all.

It was with great sadness that all of us at the Embassy in Rome received the news of the passing of His Excellency the President, Dr John Pombe Magufuli. On behalf of all the staff and on my own behalf I express my most sincere and heartfelt to the Family, Government and People of the United of the Republic of Tanzania on the sad passing on of His Excellency Dr John Pombe Magufuli, who spearheaded economic transformation for the betterment of the livelihoods of ordinary men, women and children of his country. His legacy of visionary leadership for a prosperous Tanzania will be cherished by his compatriots. In Zimbabwe he will forever be remembered as a fearless son of the soil, a true comrade in arms, who raised his voice against the illegal and unilateral sanctions against our country. Under his leadership SADC declared 25 October a day to call for the removal of sanctions on Zimbabwe. Our country has lost a true and great friend. We commiserate with you on his demise. Mr. George Kahema Madafa Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Italy Excellency, It is with deep grief and sadness that we learnt the untimely death of His Excellency Dr. John Pombe Magufuli, the 5th President of the United Republic of Tanzania. In these difficult times, I wish to express on behalf of the Algerian Embassy staff and on my own behalf, my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the late President, as well as to all the people of Tanzania on the loss of a great leader, wishing the incoming President blessings, courage and patience. Magufuli was an outstanding leader and a committed Pan-Africanist, his tragic passing is an incalculable loss to Tanzania and the African Continent.
